Data Stored Locally

Adro Browser stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Bookmarks — saved website bookmarks
• Browsing History — recently visited pages
• Preferences — your app settings (theme, search engine, etc.)
• Quick Links — your custom quick access links
• Tab Groups — saved tab group configurations

This data is stored in the app's sandboxed container and is never transmitted externally. You can clear all data at any time from the app's settings.

Third-Party Websites

Adro Browser provides access to third-party AI services (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and others). When you use these services, their respective privacy policies apply. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of each service you use:

Microphone & Camera

Adro Browser may request access to your microphone and camera to enable voice input and video features on supported AI services. These permissions are requested only when you interact with a feature that requires them. Audio and video data is processed by the respective AI service directly and is never intercepted or stored by Adro Browser.

Cookies & Website Data

Websites you visit through Adro Browser may set cookies and store data as they would in any standard browser. This data is managed by macOS WebKit and can be cleared from the app's settings at any time.

App Sandbox

Adro Browser runs in a macOS App Sandbox, which means it has limited access to your system. The app can only access the internet and its own sandboxed data container.
